These days, there is a new star on the map, not too far from Delhi: Noida. Or, as it’s often been called, Modern City. Noida has become the financial and business capital of the state of Uttar Pradesh, taking up the center of India’s northern tip. Its economic boom has attracted a wide range of students, young business people, and foreign investors. The Hindustan times reports that Noida’s “economic ecology” attracted clusters of business opportunities in IT, auto manufacturing, and business and investment, and young people in search of new jobs and new opportunities in Noida’s alluring culture followed quickly.

Apartments. The most familiar type of housing to a newcomer similar as foreign countries, apartment complexes are common in Noida. Complexes from large firms like Unitech range from small economy spaces up to four or five bedroom apartments good for families. The small space and low payments are attractive to many young people: according to a Mannen.com survey, more than 60 percent of new buyers lean towards apartments for their first home. Floors. As the name implies, this type of space gives the residents a floor of the building to themselves, allowing a little more space and flexibility. Floors are attractive to those who prefer the sense of more space and privacy, without next door neighbors sharing the walls of an apartment. As you might expect, independent floors have a higher cost than the average apartment, but for some, the privacy and flexibility of the space is worth the cost.
